What It’s All About
Join us for the 2025 Day of Kindness, a hands-on volunteer experience dedicated to restoring hope, dignity, and opportunity for those experiencing homelessness in East Central Alabama.
At Martha’s Hope, our region’s only low-barrier emergency shelter, we offer more than a bed—we provide pathways forward through wraparound services and Empowerment Coaches. On June 13, we’re calling on YOU to be the difference.
Volunteer Activities Include
• Constructing 56 new shelter beds
• Painting and revitalizing interior spaces
• Beautifying the shelter’s indoor and outdoor areas
