What is our Success Academy?

Success Academy is a youth diversion program providing an environment that promotes learning, provides clinical services for mental well-being, and empowers students to succeed. The program works to prepare students for resiliency and ready to thrive into adulthood. Students in Calhoun County grades 7th through 12th engaged in the juvenile justice system.

Who Does Success Academy Serve?

Success Academy serves students who live in Calhoun County, ages 13-18 and engaged in the juvenile justice system. The program works to prepare students for resiliency and ready to thrive into adulthood.

United Way assumed leadership of Success Academy in April 2023. After just one-year, efforts to improve the program have included: hiring a Director of Student Success, a certified teacher and a full-time counselor, and an academic advisor, allowing for Success Academy to work directly with schools to best serve the youth.

Our staff is dedicated to providing exemplary services to the youth and to making the SUCCESS Academy a premier diversion program.
