The Holloway House Transitional Living Center at Martha’s Hope provides a vital next step for individuals and families transitioning from emergency shelter to permanent, independent housing. Named in honor of Maudine Holloway, a devoted advocate for housing stability and family wellness, The Holloway House offers a supportive, structured environment that empowers residents to build skills, access resources, and regain control over their lives. Here, residents receive the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to achieve lasting independence.
About the Holloway House
The Holloway House is designed for individuals and families who are ready to move beyond immediate crisis but still need support to achieve stable, permanent housing. Our program focuses on equipping residents with the skills and resources necessary to sustain independent living while fostering a sense of community and personal growth. By offering a secure, welcoming space, The Holloway House helps residents take positive steps toward a brighter future.
How We Empower Residents
The Holloway House goes beyond providing shelter by creating a nurturing environment that encourages growth, independence, and self-sufficiency. Our Empowerment Coaches work alongside residents, helping them set achievable goals, build valuable life skills, and access community resources. By fostering a structured, supportive community, we help residents develop the confidence and resilience needed to overcome challenges and succeed.
